Franco Martínez, auxiliary bishop of Madrid since 1996, seeks to show that while the author of Hebrews translated the most significant data of the mystery of Christ into new theological categories, there is not a significant rupture between the Jesus of the Gospels and Jesus the High Priest of Hebrews.
